It's vacation time again, we'll be heading up north for a while to visit family. If you're not from southern Ontario, the term "up north" usually means somewhere between Georgian Bay in the west and Ottawa in the east. Like a lot of people, Southern Ontarians like to spend time in the country or in the bush at a lake as often as possible. In our case, it means just north of Lake Huron, and far off the beaten trail.

A couple of great resources, and a mea culpa.
There is an excellent website from Microsoft safety research, full of resources, and info for teens, parents, and anyone else concerned about online safety and cyber-bullying. Downloadable guides, videos and lots of good info and it's all free. These two links are a good start, it's a big site!
