The Globe and Mail reports that the Supreme Court has decided in favour of a teen bullying victim who had requested anonymity to take on her tormentors in court, if possible. You can read the entire report here.
By hearing the case at all, the Court gives increased legitimacy to bullying cases. This can only help the cause. By allowing the girl to remain anonymous, she and her family will not have to suffer more public humiliation for the duration of any possible court case.

Does your child's school have an anti-bullying program in place?
It's shocking ( to me, at least ) how many schools still haven't taken action to stop the culture of bullying. There are many programs available, most are pretty good, but they all have some differences and not every program is right for every school. Depending on the situation at your school and the type and the frequency of bullying, some programs might be more appropriate than others.

Things are changing a bit around here...
Hi everyone,
It has been nearly six years since we lost Steven, and the time has come for a slight change of focus. The anti-bullying cause is well under way now, with thousands of people and many great organizations working to raise awareness and change attitudes about school bullying. We will continue to provide the best anti-bullying resources and as many quality links as we can find for you, as always.

We can all help in our own communities every day, and on-line as well. If you, or someone you know is suicidal, you can call the crisis line in your country:
